Facilitating the Human Dimension of Peace, Security and Development

Our professional services centre on the Human Factors influencing the Security-Development Nexus – where peace, security and development reinforce and complement the other.  Working in the context of Fragile and Conflict Affected States (FCAS), focus areas are international police cooperation, security sector reform, security risk mitigation, conflict transformation, and [post-conflict] development.

The Human Dimension explores interoperabilty, interconnectedness and cooperation through an integrated approach to human security, utilising human relations strategies and human domain analysis to identify and gain understanding of the socio-cultural and situational context within an operational environment.

The Human Domain ∴

“the environment – physical, geopolitical, and sociocultural – as it relates to human activity within an area of interest, conflict, or operation”
